What have you been up to since you graduated?

Raised five children, moved away to Albuquerque, NM, 11/21/96.
Worked as pre-school teacher in public childcare, starting one pre-school in a faith-based facility. Tested into the public school system as an educator in New Mexico, where I started a K-2 resource room for moderate to severe children. Next moved to neighboring district where I taught resource and inclusion for 1-3 for ten years. During my teaching experience in New Mexico, I acquired additional licensure credits for special education and was dual certified. I have additional dual licenses in Utah, Colorado and Idaho.
When the district phased out my position, I moved to a Montessori Kindergarten as an emergency assistant teacher. In 2013 My husband and I moved to Idaho, and I taught five years in resource, as a team manager for K-3 and resource teacher.
I retired in 2018, at the end of the term, in August. My husband needed me to hlep him at home.
The best part of my teaching experience was that it was all in public schools, where I learned to live my faith and led many children to the Lord...and am still friends with their parents.

School Story

I attended elementary school at Jordan Lutheran School in West Allis. By the time I was four, I could read and had my first library card.
Next stop was WISCO four years, and my first year at Wisconsin Lutheran College in the same building. My sophomore year of college was begun a month late because DMLC was completing the new women's dormitory.
I graduated with a BSEd, and never got to use it until I moved to New Mexico, where I tested into certification for elementary eduaction.
In 2011, I received my MSEd, from Keiser Graduate University. It was my best educational experience, with high recommendations from the dean of the graduate school.
